About Me

Let's see if I can wrap my life up in a paragraph. I'm adopted with no connection to my biological family; the family I know is all I need. As a teenager I was rebellious and very defiant getting pregnant at the age of 15. I moved out and married my high school sweetheart two weeks after my 16th birthday. We created my very beautiful daughter, Sam, who is now 12 years old. Being the "know-it-all" kids that we were, we had a 5 year run before our divorce was finalized one day before my 21st birthday. Dated my "best friend" for a few years after that, then the relationship went south in November of 2002. Christmas that same year was when I fell in love with a wonderful man I have known for 14 years. We married and have a beautiful son, Ethan, together who just turned 4 years old.

To say the very least I am wiser for the trials I've overcome in my life. I'm very thankful for my mother who helped me through it all. I'm unapologetic for who I am and frankly don't care to waste my time on judgemental people. You love me or you don't, but in saying that I tend to easily make friends my family. I hold everyone dear to my heart and strongly believe that when you leave this world all you can take with you is the love we feel for eachother.

My Interests

, Photography and Music are the main ones. I LOVE traveling and spending time with my family and friends.

Music

I don't have all day and night to list the many bands and artists that I love. I'll just put it this way: Alternative, Rock, Heavy Metal, Southern Rock, Rap, R&B, Trip Hop, Punk, Oldies 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's, Classical, Indie, Progressive, Country, Blues, Jazz, Christian and Pop. No Zydecco please.

Movies

Foxfire, Legend, Fight Club, Dazed and Confused, Natural Born Killers, Donnie Darko, The Breakfast Club, Brick, Shop Girl, Dogma, Clerks, Big Trouble in Little China, The Notebook, The Family Stone, Monster Squad, Boondock Saints, The Lost Boys, The Crow, Empire Records, The Goonies, All Corey Haim and Corey Feldman movies, and EVERYTHING Tarantino does (just to name a few)

Television

6 Feet Under, LOST, CSI: Las Vegas & Miami, Big Love, Heroes, Entourage, The Two Corey's, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. I catch Smallville, Surface, and The 4400 whenever I have time. Also Tila Tequila's: A shot at love is pretty damn entertaining!

Books

I don't have one yet but I was turned onto Edgar Allan Poe by a friend. I like The Masque of the Red Death. So far it's my favorite short story. My favorite poet is Kalil Gibran. In Tears and Laughter theres a short story/poem called The Victors. I suggest everyone check them both out. They're beautiful!! I'm currently reading Turning Angel by Greg ILes but also enjoy Tess Gerritsen and her Jane Rizzoli and Maura Isles series.
